Load Railcars Safely
|
|
Railcar docks can be some of the most dangerous areas in a facility. Variations in boxcar sizes and styles require a special dock plate to traverse the gap between building floor and boxcar that will stand up to the rigors of forklift traffic and material handling. Application based engineering by Leum Engineering, Inc. will create a bridge to meet all the needs of the industry.
Because there are so many different options and capacities from industry to industry we pride ourselves in listening to customers and giving them a product that is safe, sturdy and reliable.

Railboard 3-Sided Lip Chamfer Reduces Tire Damage
Use in combination with recessed side curbs, the 3-Sided Lip Chamfer minimizes costly damage to forklift tires when turning 90 degrees into a boxcar.
These features are not STANDARD on all Leum Engineering rail dock boards.
Often customers with clamp style forklifts request chains to lift and position the railboard. Leum Engineering is the only company to supply a storage cup for the chains when not in use to eliminate chains getting ripped off when the unit is stored.
