Custom designed and built platforms for loading dock areas are standard at Leum Engineering, Inc. The platforms can range from simple exit platforms with stairs and handrails to self standing loading dock platforms. These ramps are built to match the customers operations and can incorporate most loading dock products including Rite Hite dock levelers and vehicle restraints.
Leum Engineering ramps are available in any width, length or capacity. Our platforms and stairs use heavy duty serrated bar grating to allow the elements to pass through while maintaining traction for the forklifts and people. We also use steel plating for indoor docks.
A self standing dock can be built to integrate a railboard, dockplate/leveler, restraint or door. They can be placed in parking lots or existing grade level dock doors without costly excavation. Dock to grade ramps are able to provide a stronger custom bridge including handrail protection at a cost well below that of our competition.
